Hi,

Tomorrow I’m going to the Tyrone Guthrie Centre at Annaghmakerrig to finish Amy Green, Summer Secrets, the second in the series. And hopefully start book 3 if I get a chance.

I can’t wait. A full week of just writing – I’m so lucky. My in laws are coming over to help with the kids for the week.

I’m going to write from dawn (well dawn-ish) to dusk and really throw myself into it. So often my writing is interrupted by the phone, the door bell, children, the post man. What I hate most is when I’m in the middle of a good writing day, the words are flowing and then I have to go and do something like the shopping or the school run. Has to be done of course, but I often wonder what would happen if I have the time and space to think more about my characters and my plots.

Such is the life of a mum/sister/daughter/partner/friend/writer I guess.

I won’t be posting while I’m away so have a happy and productive week.
